Rams head to Carleton for OUA Final Four

By Andrea Elliott

TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams men's soccer team is headed back to the OUA Final Four championship for the sixth straight year after winning their quarter-final match on Sunday night.

The Rams, who finished the year with a 14-1-1 record, enter the championship as the No. 2 seed in the East. The host Carleton Ravens, also 14-1-1 this season, edged the Rams head-to-head to earn the hosting privileges.

From the West division, the top seeded York Lions are looking to repeat as OUA champion while the No. 2 seeded Western Mustangs upset the Guelph Gryphons to reach the Final Four.

The divisions cross over for the semifinal, meaning No. 2 East Ryerson take on No. 1 West York. Game time has been set for 6:00 p.m. from Carleton's MNP Park. Earlier in the day at 3:00 p.m., Carleton will face Western.

The winners of the semifinals not only advance to the OUA championship game, but will both automatically qualify for the U SPORTS national championship to be held November 8-11 in Vancouver at UBC.

For those traveling to Carleton to take in the games, admission is free. For those unable to attend in person, all Final Four games will be available on
