TORONTO - The Ryerson Rams are pleased to announce the following student-athletes as the Stars of the Week, ending October 28th.
Sylvie Antoun - Cross Country - 3rd Year - Mechanical Engineering, PhD
Taking on a challenging course filled with rain and mud, Antoun raced to a 55th place finish to lead all Rams at the OUA Championship this Saturday. Antoun's time of 33:18 on the 8km course is the fourth fastest time in Ryerson's all-time record book.

A first year setter, Wong looked comfortable in controlling the Rams offence in their season opener on Wednesday night. Wong recorded 36 assists on Ryerson's 44 total kills, and played a big role defensively, posting a team-high 11 digs. Wong and the Rams opened the year with a 3-1 win over the Brock Badgers.
Mirza Custovic - Soccer - 1st Year - Geographic Analysis
A two goal performance in the OUA quarter-final lands Custovic among the Stars of the Week. The first year striker opened the scoring in the Rams' first postseason game, giving Ryerson a 1-0 lead over Toronto on Sunday night. Needing extra time to decide a winner, Custovic scored again in the 96th minute to make the score 3-1, providing some insurance for the Rams. The win sends Ryerson back to the Final Four for the sixth straight year.
Xander Ketrzynski - Volleyball - 1st Year - Arts & Contemporary Studies
Playing in his first OUA game, Ketrzynski had a debut to remember. The outside hitter led the Rams with 15 kills to power Ryerson to a 3-0 sweep of Brock. Ketrzynski was efficient with his offence, posting a .500 hitting percentage. He also added two block assists and a service ace for 17 total points.
Filip Vujadinovic - Basketball - 5th Year - Business Management
Vujadinovic started his fifth year in the blue and gold with a bang, recording a career-high 25 points in the Rams' season opening win over Toronto. Vujadinovic was 10-for-14 from the floor, including a 5-for-9 clip from three point range. He also added a team-high eight rebounds. His offensive performance helped lead the Rams to a 103-51 thumping of the Varsity Blues.
